Native Plant Kits

Plant kits are the economical way to fill in larger areas, and help take some of the mystery out of deciding what plants will work best in a situation (because sometimes there are just too many choices!).

The species in each kit have been selected for hardiness, vigor, and ease of growth. Many of these are 'naturalizing' species, meaning they are good at filling in and reseeding themselves. So keep in mind that they might not be ideal for tiny spaces, or next to areas where you aren't willing to deal with volunteers.

Kit plants come in 8" plugs (10 cubic inch), with a well-developed root system that is easy to plant and is quicker to establish than a traditional small container.

This is by far the most economical way to convert a landscape to native plants. Plugs in large kits start at $2.75/plant...good luck finding that at a gardening center.

Plug containers are reusable, and can be dropped off at your pickup point for the next generation of plants!
