Short stature shrub that spreads via rhizomes. Plant this to fill in hedge gaps or create a living boundary. Bees are fond of the little pink flowers, and the white berries provide fall and winter interest. Snowberry creates important habitat in the lower levels of a thicket or hedge. Snowberry will slowly expand out from where it is planted, so it is a great choice for wildlife and restoration plantings might not be the best choice for traditional garden settings.

If you have an empty space that you just want to fill with something native but don't care what, I'd recommend this.
