Succulents are popular these days, and our little native sedum deserves to be included. This versatile pocket-size species grows on a wide range of well-drained soils, even in partial shade, and is a fantastic rock garden choice. The symmetrical leaf stalks sprout bright yellow flowers in the spring, and when planted en masse they can effectively color a small slope or wall.
