Pearly everlasting is a restoration work horse with amazing versatility. Equally likely to be found in disturbed roadcuts, densely vegetated streambanks, and dry open forest, the most notable feature of pearly everlasting is its bouquet of white button flowers with dark yellow centers which can last for months. The attractive silvery foliage isn’t bad to look at either.
